How to get my body like my best friend and so many other people?

My best friend is the type to go to Wendy's with me and get a super sized combo, 4 piece nugget, and frosty and never gains a pound. He is like 5'9 nicely toned swimmers build and he really doesn't work out that much. I am the one that actually has to but work in and sacrifice for my body. I will sometimes just get a small fry and water i am 5'9 also and when I last weight was 231lbs. I mean I am a weight lifting guy and they do say muscle ways more than fat so maybe that's were most of the weight is coming from? Why wont the vet let me be in the room when they euthanize my rabbit?

I recently went with a friend to put her bunny down. I arranged everything which means i had to call around alot. When i talked to them almost every vet office told me they wouldn't allow you into the room when they euthanize. Or if they do it costs twice as much. This sounds VERY fishy to me.... Any idea why they won't let me be there for my bunny when it's her time to go? We just discovered a couple of weeks ago that our dog has ticks. We live in an apartment complex in Chandler, AZ with a large grass area, the normal bushes and a shady area where the sprinkler/ drainage system doesn't work properly. This causes a puddle of water 6-8 in. deep that looks like a swamp. It takes anywhere from hours to days to drain and it refills whenever the apartment complex waters that area (1-2 times a day). How to slim down my massive bulky calves? Diet, exercise, stretching etc?

I am thin everywhere, else, I have literally no fat unfortunately in my butt, hips, and I am completely flat in the chest area because since the summer started, I noticed that all my fat started going to my calves. It looks really weird because my thighs and everything else is thin, except my calves, which look bulky and manly. I'm not sure if because I used to have gym in the school year, but I still jog 1.5 miles 3-4 times a week, and stretch a lot. My mom has "german" calves genetically and so do my sisters, but my dad's side is japanese and have very thin legs. Could it be from my mom's side, even though this came kind of suddenly because I used to have "chicken" legs. Are there any exercises to slim them down, and NOT make bulky, so no weights, or calf raises etc. I just want skinny calves if that would be possible. Does jump roping help slim down bulky calves or does it make them worse and does jogging help or make it worse? Is there a certain diet? The clicking resembled that of a digital camera and found it suspicious to be making an odd sound on regular intervals. But again, he was not absolutely sure and doesn't worry about it. That was all I told my friend because I found it interesting to talk about. I don't think the Kinect is shady as I don't have one. Apple was recently busted for privacy invasion through their location services so this story seemed plausible. Also, I don't think this guy would make something up like this when people already lose their minds, kill babies, and burn houses down over the slightest conspiracy theory. And anyone can find out for themselves if they just stick around a Kinect for a bit. So I personally saw no reason for my "friend" to get mad the way he did.

False Positive pregnancy test?

This is what happened. The other night I was at a bonfire, there were like 20 people there roughly. We were all having a good time when out of nowhere these 5 shady kids come out to it. I couldn't really do anything, it was dark and I was so thrown off, so my friend got him off me and I started defending myself and he ran off somewhere. At that point me and my friend just wanted to leave so we got in his car. Just as the cars started and starting to take off slowly, I noticed someone running up to my window. My window was down (don't even ask why, idk) and as the cars moving he reached his arm in and stabbed at me five times. Luckily he only got me once in the arm, but if I didn't block it with my arm it could've gotten my ribs or heart. My friend rushed me to the hospital, and i had to get 6 stitches, and a few days later i had to have surgery so now its 20 stitches. After they stitched me up, a cop came in the room. The first thing he did was ask me to take a breathalizer. I refused, and why is that the first thing he asked? I got stabbed, and he wants me to take a breathalizer. After I told him all that happened, he gave me an m.i.p. I had court today and now im on bond because this is my 2nd mip, am gonna probably be on probation, have to pay all fines that come with it, AND my medical bill, all while the stabber is still out there. I gave the cop names and am waiting to hear something, but its not looking good. How is this fair? Any advice?

I'd be insulted that they sent an email to me and not called me. To me it sounds like after just one day of work they 'fired' you. I would think they didn't like the way I worked and couldn't face me so they made up some excuse thinking they could pass me off. Honestly, if I didn't get a phone call I would have ignored the email, still shown up to work and pretended like everything was normal. In the very least I would have called right away seeming concerned. Acting like I got some fraudulent email about how weeks worth of work suddenly disappeared and make a point of why I wasn't properly notified about such a change. Also if they had a resolution like this then why weren't you told in advance since now you're out of time to look for other work for the summer. I would push further for another available position since if you had know about their...other plans then you would have known to keep looking for a replacement job but now they've left you with nothing. If you did good work and they had no reason to terminate you then by all means call and get a straight answer from someone.

Can I get a new Black Ops game disc this way?

After purchasing Black Ops almost the day it came out from GameStop, couple months later after I took it out of the box there was a crack in the inner clear ring, No biggie, I thought. Then a few more plays and suddenly a thin crack has made it from the crack all the way into the actual disk itself. The game becomes almost unplayable and I have to clean it with water almost everytime I put it in. After a couple weeks of that, it has completely stopped working. This girl added me a while back (months, maybe even a year). "She" had a pretty, but not beautiful, profile picture. It was nothing like a model or porn star picture. She started talking to me, and she ended up sending me some dirty pictures. We quit talking for a while, as she moved back to a neighboring state and supposedly got a boyfriend (according to her Facebook). Recently, she moved back and we started talking again. It turns out her Facebook picture was fake. She said there were too many creeps on Facebook to put her real pictures on. Plus, she had a boyfriend who doesn't mess with computers so maybe he was uneasy? She put a bunch more on. They're still very pretty but they're not dirty pictures or pictures of celebrities or models. They're all the same girl. The whole time I've had her on Facebook her story has been the same. She has a couple friends on her friends list that claim to be from the same area she's from, and they interact with each other on Facebook (comments, wall posts, etc.). Here's where it gets shady. When we talk on the phone, she blocks her humber if she calls from her house. She says her dad is very strict and doesn't like her getting serious with guys so she doesn't want me calling her house. She will, however, give me her cell number. I've spoken to her about this situation and she seems to be sincere in the fact that she's real. Another thing is when I ask her to FaceTime on our phones (so I can verify she's 100% real), she won't do it. This is a red flag for sure. She says she's shy, but then she'll ask to meet up. It's kind of a contradiction. I can somewhat understand, though, because it would seem a little awkward doing FaceTime and I'd rather meet up in person. She also says she just got out of a relationship and doesn't want to jump into anything, BUT will turn around and talk to me on the phone and talk about us meeting up. There is no spam on her page, and her info seems legit. If it's fake, someone is taking a LOT of time to do this and is very good at it. So i started dating this guy for about three weeks now. We moved kinda fast in that he became my boyfriend only after 2 weeks. It just felt right. I know it's just an old wives tale but it had to of been true for someone if they made it up and passed it along. But I was wondering if anyone really found it to be true that their leg hair grew faster and thicker for boys (or just grew like normal) and then barely grew at all for girls. I have two boys and my leg hair grew like crazy, and this time around (even though I am only 6 weeks along), I only have to shave every few days, and its super thin. I know it all has to do with hormones but it is a little strange that my body is already reacting differently to this pregnancy. Has anyone found this old wives tale to be true?

Leopard gecko died - help!?

our heating lamp broke a few weeks ago and our gecko was acting fine with just the heat from a regular lamp near his cage. eating normal etc. today because it was warm out i figured he could use a bit more heat... maybe i was wrong- because i think he is dead! at 2pm i brought out his cage and place it in the sun, with a shady area and fresh cool water. at 3 he was laying in his water dish and seemed content but when i checked on him at 4 he still hadn't moved and so i went to get him out and he is not moving or blinking. he is still the right color, i immediately brought him back in to the house and am hoping he is playing dead or something. could i have overheated him?? i feel terrible!! it was about 85 out today where we live mostly sunny. omg please tell me i didn't kill him. it was only 2 hours!! his lamp used to be on for 8 hrs!! anything you can tell me is appreciated!

my relative committed suicide in 1993 when she was 20 years old. I know her name,year of birth and death,all her direct family members names,and that there is a scholarship named after her. i'm 5ft 1 and 108 pounds, and im 14. i not fat, but i have big thighs and flabby upper arms. i need roughly 1400 calories a day to maintain my weight when i don't exercise. So heres the problem. I want to get thinner, but i don't know how much to lose. I have a plan to eat 1000-1400 cals a day and exercise every day and i have 6 weeks till schools back on. So what would you's say i do? not worry about weight, but exercise and tone up to the size i'd be happy with or lose a certain amount of weight, like 8 pounds and then begin toning and maintaining afterwards?

What should I do about shady financial practices by my employer?

Currently, I am employed as a server in a local restaurant. Unlike every other restaurant I've ever worked in, this particular one chooses to disperse our credit card tips in our weekly paycheck as opposed to receiving all our tips in cash (credit card included) at the end of every night. This particular part doesn't really bother me because as long as I get all of my money it doesn't matter to me what the form. The problem is with the system used to calculate the tips and transfer them to the paychecks. When I started working there, fellow servers encouraged me to keep thorough records of what I made every night in case there was ever a discrepancy in my check amounts. At first I didn't think much of it but almost every week since I've been there at least one server has had tips missing from their check. They take their individual reports to management, who promises to fix it but some people wait months for this to happen. One server recently told me about a conversation she had with the employee in charge of the payroll who seemed surprised that she kept track of her tips because "alot of people don't" (supposedly said with a grin indicating that the company may be fully aware of these "mistakes"). Also, I recently had my own issue of them accidentally clocking in an employee under my number so that her tips technically went to me for the night and then showed up on my paycheck. They told me that the only thing I could do would be to write her a check for the tips for that night, which makes sense if you don't consider taxes or the fact that those earnings are going to be reported on my income statement. Couldn't they have just withheld the tips from my next paycheck, reimbursed me for the taxes, then credited her on her next check? They've been "cleaning house" lately and I need the job so I don't want to complain to management, but it would be so nice for someone unaffiliated with the company to take a look at their financial practices, I do suspect illegal activity but I could definitely just be seen as a disgruntled employee by anyone in power and I'm not really sure what to do. I'm a lvl 68 and I have slot of equips that improve luk and dex, and every time I click auto assign. It tell me to put all five on to luk, so I was wondering if this is right or are you supposed to put dex = lvl x 2, like in the very beginning of the game. The character that I'm using I've had since the very beginning of the game, I've just been playing off and on. I have a base of 129 on dex but with items it equals 136 so should I keep raising dex by 2 and 3 on luk if not please tell me what I am doing wrong and what I can do to fix it.
