Why do Christians lie aboutn the 3 kings/ Magais visiting jesus ?

I don't know about the Latin translation you spoke of but you are right there were not "Three Wise men," there were three gifts given to Jesus buy the wise men. I never understood how they got three wise men out of that, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thought about this.
