Is cervix open after miscarriage?

i have read that the os feels slightly open after a miscarriage. during february, i had some symptoms of pregnency but i did not test positive on a kit and i got my periods as usual. but ever since my os has not fully closed and the opening feels a little oblong and i can almost insert the tip of my finger inside even just after my periods, when it is supposed to be closed tightly. i wonder if i had a miscarriage in february. is there any other symptom that i should luk for or should i see a doctor
