Should continue to like him?

Of course you like him, you can't talk yourself out of that, so don't try. But you can't make him love you either. Just get on with your life and see what happens; you never know, you might grow on him, but not if you pester him and act silly. If not, you'll get over him eventually and find someone else. If he doesn't come onto you, then it's not meant to be, so leave it.
