I just broke a mirror, glass everywhere. I'm only 13, idk what to do!?

I have personally broken quite a bit of mirrors and I don't consider myself to have bad luck, in fact I think I am a pretty lucky guy. I would just smash it into smaller pieces(it is already broken anyway) and sweep up the small shards into a bag and throw it out. When your parents get home just tell them that you accidentally broke the mirror, not really a huge deal in my book.
