OK, your gay. I recommend coming out, looking to your friend for support in the transition (if you're not interested in her, which it doesn't sound that way) and try and get your own little piece of happiness. People might be angry right now at what you are doing, but if you end up miserable in a marriage you don't want it will be worse for everybody, and people will come around once they see how well you are doing as an out lesbian. Trust me on that last part.
